Pulse of Korea is a real-time demographic visualization platform that displays population data for the Korean Peninsula. Our mission is to provide accurate, up-to-date demographic information for both South Korea and North Korea in an engaging and accessible format.

Data Sources

South Korea Data

Official statistics from KOSIS (Korean Statistical Information Service), the national statistical office of South Korea. This ensures the highest accuracy and reliability for South Korean demographic data.

North Korea Data

Data sourced from the CIA World Factbook 2024. Due to the restricted nature of North Korea, demographic data may have limitations and should be interpreted with appropriate context.
